背上爱的行囊，共赴新程 因循着四季节律，在一片灿烂的秋光中，我们又迎来一张张活泼可爱的面庞。教师节选定在学期之初，本就寓意着新学年新气象，同时也为了让学生在学涯伊始，就能感受到尊师重教的氛围。以节日之名，让探索知识的人孜孜不倦，运用知识的人灼灼生辉，传承知识的人闪闪发光。 “大力弘扬教育家精神，加快建设教育强国”是国家发布的2024年教师节主题。当我们看到“教育家”这三个字，心中油然浮现出像蔡元培、陶行知、张伯苓、晏阳初这样前辈大家的身影。做新时代的教育家，难吗？确实具有一定的挑战性，但并不意味着是一件难以达成的事情。在过去的十年里，我们共同见证了教育的力量。十年间，华外同文外国语学校（原华南师范大学附属外国语学校）从无到有，从小到大，从默默无闻到课程体系日渐成熟，这背后凝聚着每一位教师的智慧与汗水。你们不仅是知识的传播者，更是学生心灵的引路人，用爱心与耐心点亮了华外孩子的梦想之光。今日的学校，是世界的港湾。每一个孩子将从这里扬帆，驶向全球每个角落，肩负使命与担当。而今日的老师，有的会为遥远的点点帆船点亮灯塔；有的会为幼小的心灵描绘远方的梦想；有的会为美好的花季雨季守护希望。 当下，我们正站在一个新的历史节点上。全球正加速走向AI时代，未来教育将以生命意义和创新创造为目标，以更开阔的学习方式，培养能创造更多精神价值、放大生命可能的时代新人。因此，作为学生成长的航标灯、筑梦师，我们也要积极拥抱新变化。面对教育改革的新要求和新时代赋予的新使命，积极探索教育创新之路。同时，在变动不居的环境中，更加珍视学生的心灵。让学生对学习心怀感恩，而非对知识心生厌倦；让学生对未来充满兴趣，而非对世界感到沮丧。 大力弘扬教育家精神，鼓舞着我们新学期再次启航——将我们对教育的理想与信念化作一种无形的精神力量，时雨化之，默默前行，始终引领、促进、感化、温暖着一代又一代华外孩子们的成长。亲爱的老师们，在这特别的日子里，向你们致以最诚挚的祝福。你们是教育的中流砥柱，用无尽的热情和智慧，塑造着每一个孩子的未来。感谢你们的辛勤付出和无私奉献，因为有你们，我们共同的教育事业才更加辉煌灿烂！愿你们教师节快乐！身体健康，工作顺利！ 贺惠芬 2024年9月10日 Embark on a New Journey with a Caring Heart As the new school year begins in this golden autumn, we see so many lovely new faces. Teachers’ Day was set at the beginning of a semester to imply a new outlook for the new school year. It also helps foster an environment where students learn to respect teachers and value education at the beginning of their learning journey. On this special day, may those who seek knowledge study tirelessly, those who apply knowledge achieve great success, and those who teach knowledge shine brilliantly. “Carrying forward the spirit of educator vigorously and accelerating efforts to build a leading country in education” is the theme for Teachers’ Day 2024 released by the central government. The word “educator” naturally brings to mind great educational predecessors such as Cai Yuanpei, Tao Xingzhi, Zhang Boling, and Yan Yangchu. How difficult is it to be an educator in the new era? It does be challenging to some extent, but is not unachievable. Over the past decade, we have witnessed the power of education together. During this time, Huawai-Tongman Foreign Language School (formerly the Affiliated Foreign Language School of SCNU) has grown from scratch from an unknown school to one with an increasingly sophisticated curriculum system, which is attributed to the wisdom and hard work of every teacher. You are not only imparters of knowledge, but also spiritual mentors for our students. You have lit up the light of dreams for our students with your care and patience. Our school today is a harbor oriented toward the world. Every child will set sail here to fulfill their missions and responsibilities across the globe. Today, some of you will light up beacons for distant sailboats; some will chart future dreams for young minds, and some will give hope to the young blood. Currently, we stand at a new historical juncture. The world is rapidly moving towards the AI era, and education in the future will aim to explore the meaning of life and foster innovation and creation. Through a wider range of learning methods, it will nurture a new generation capable of creating more spiritual value and more possibilities in life. Therefore, as beacons and dream builders for students’ growth, we should also embrace new changes. Faced with the new requirements of educational reform and the new mission mandated by the new era, we should actively explore innovative approaches to education while also paying more attention to students’ mental needs in this ever-changing environment. We should motivate students to learn willingly rather than be bored with knowledge, and to be interested in the future rather than feel frustrated about the world. The call to carry forward the spirit of educator vigorously inspires us to set sail again in the new semester. Let’s turn our ideals and beliefs about education into an intangible spiritual force, put it into practice constantly, always lead, encourage, and influence our students, and make them feel our warmth throughout their growth.
